The Fog Signal is written by Armando Pereira, founder of PVentures Consulting and one of the architects of the fog computing architecture that now underpins the global edge infrastructure. His founding of the OpenFog Consortium — which became the IEEE 1934 standard, the foundational architecture for fog and edge computing — is not a bio line. It is the technical ground from which every Fog Signal analysis is written.

He served eight years as President of the AVCC, the Autonomous Vehicle Computing Consortium, making him one of the few operators with direct, prolonged executive experience across both the telecom standards ecosystem and the autonomous systems commercial stack.
